We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Dissemination Strategist for the “Voices of the Next Generation: Future Decision-Makers on European Values and Citizenship” project.
About the Project:
“Voices of the Next Generation” is a youth-led initiative aimed at strengthening cooperation between youth organizations to promote active citizenship and democratic participation. Through a series of Youth Exchanges and a Final Conference, participants will explore topics such as sustainable Europe, media literacy, advocacy, solidarity, and volunteering, fostering dialogue and collaboration among young people from diverse backgrounds.
Responsibilities:
- Digital Presence: Manage the project’s website and social media platforms to maintain an engaging online presence aligned with project objectives and timelines.
- Content Creation: Develop and disseminate compelling content, including articles, videos, and social media posts, reflecting project themes and activities. Design promotional materials for online and offline dissemination.
- Audience Engagement: Identify and engage target audiences through appropriate channels and activities, with a focus on underrepresented groups. Actively involve young people in discussions about European values and citizenship.
- Event Documentation: Collect photos, videos, and other media from project activities for comprehensive documentation and dissemination.
- Film Production Collaboration: Collaborate with videographers to create videos based on short movies produced during project activities, adapting them for social media dissemination.
- Website Management: Maintain the project website, updating content and creating engaging blog posts to showcase project activities and outcomes.
- European Project Dissemination: Utilize experience in disseminating European projects to promote project goals and outcomes to relevant stakeholders at local, national, and European levels.
- Youth Engagement: Actively involve young people in dissemination activities, encouraging their participation in civic society initiatives and discussions about the future of Europe.
- Event Support: Assist in organizing and promoting project events, including Youth Exchanges and the Final Conference, to maximize participation and impact.
- Collaboration and Reporting: Collaborate closely with project partners to ensure alignment of dissemination activities with overall project objectives. Provide regular updates and reports on dissemination efforts and outcomes.
Requirements:
- Membership in the European Youth Press Network (EYP) and experience in disseminating European projects.
- Strong communication and media production skills.
- Ability to engage diverse audiences, including underrepresented groups.
- Proficiency in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Commitment to promoting active citizenship and democratic participation among young people in Europe.
