About Us:
European Youth Press (EYP) is a vibrant network of young journalists and media makers from across Europe. Our mission is to empower young voices in the media landscape. We are currently seeking a Team Assistant / Project Coordinator to join our team and support our dynamic organisation.
Job Type: Full-time (35 hours/week) or Part-time (17.5 hours/week). Fixed-term contract until 31st December 2023, with a strong possibility of extension.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Support the organisation’s general project management and activities. Ensure the successful execution of projects by managing deadlines and coordinating tasks.
- Research and Fundraising: Identify and explore funding opportunities to support our initiatives.
- Partnership Development: Establish and maintain relationships with potential partners and stakeholders.
- Project Support: Assist in project proposal and report writing.
- Financial Support: Manage bookkeeping tasks, including collecting and organising receipts.
- Event Coordination: Find and track invitations and events for our Executive Board’s attendance.
- General Office Management: Manage the office email and handle day-to-day administrative tasks.
- Organise Meetings: Collaborate with the Executive Board to plan and organise board meetings.
- Internal Communication: Maintain effective communication, especially with our Member Organisations.
- Currently enrolled in or completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree programme.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Proficiency in office software and tools.
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Prior experience in project coordination or administration is a plus.
Interviews will take place during the week of the application deadline.
This position is remote, allowing you to work from anywhere.
