The M100 Young European Journalism workshop (M100YEJ) has been initiated in 2005 to promote the ethical standards in journalism. The event will take place on 8-14 September 2017 in Potsdam, Germany. Through a fruitful exchange between 15 selected young journalists from all over Europe, the M100 gives an once-in-a-lifetime chance to gain new experience of journalism in completely different political systems and societies. This year the M100 represents a new opportunity not only to gain first-hand experience about how to finance independent journalism. It gives also a new view and an understanding of democracy, journalism ethics and media freedom.
