About Julia Brötz
Julia Brötz is a video and online journalist. In 2014, she was a founding member of the investigative research center correctiv.org. As a team member she was awarded the Grimme Online Award in 2015 for her multimedia research “MH17 – The Search for Truth”. Since May 2017 she has been in charge of the integration traineeship at the Media Institute Berlin-Brandenburg at ALEX Berlin. The 18-month programme trains up-and-coming talents with experience of displacement to become cross-media journalists and cooperates with partners from the media (n-tv, rbb, Der Tagesspiegel, taz and many more) and integration sectors (Neue Deutsche Medienmacher, Reporters without Borders and many more).
